Thetime whenyou arrive atLucknam Park’s entrance,Everything will be set to welcome you.The majestic short distance lime and beech avenue guard the entrance to the elegantly renovated Gothic-style palace like a guard of honor. The peaceful elegance of the traditional English mansion, encircled by its classical gardens, wide grassland, and paddocks, is ideal for relaxing; for retreating from the pressures of life to feelnature and get relaxed with yourloved ones making memories.

It’s important to remember the everlasting classics which are well for a point amid the bustle and bustle of many other new British hotel openings. Lucknam Park has a long and illustrious history. It’s vintage in a lovely, soothing way. The mellifluous Bath stone Regency manor house sits on the edge of an avenue of air beech and lemon trees, surrounded by stunning grounds that look like something out of a Jane Austen film set. A charming home for weekend families, a world-class equestrian centre, and a professional cooking school are all on the site. However, you are not required to prepare your meal. Cook Hywel Jones (who has kept his Star rating for the 15th year) prepares delectable dishes in his namesake restaurant.

The crackling fires, pane-led libraries, thatch roof four-poster mattresses, and somber paintings are all part of the experience. It’s not stuffy, though. In recent years, a deliberate effort to make the area feel less structured has tended to result in a cheerful rebound in the management’s step, a raised level of gossip to about a sigh in the afternoons, and a relaxed environment with which you can dress up your gown away to the ESPA spa and back without having to feel like a painful slob. The urns in the toilet, the Parthenon murals in the dining table, and the Hellenistic design on the plates are just a few of the odd Greek features strewn about.
